I LOVE Christmas cards! I love when you send me Christmas cards! I love reading about my friends and their kids. I LOVE Christmas letters in Christmas cards.
I need to start writing ours. I feel like it's the funnest creative writing assignment of the year. It has to be succinct, informative, and if there's a theme, even better! Mine tend to be silly, a little tongue in cheek. One year I had the kids tell me what they wanted to say. That one turned out pretty well.

You have been posting up a storm today! Hey, you'll know the answer to this, what do you do about your ever changing address and receiving Christmas cards? Do you send your cards early so people can use the return mailing address on the envelope, do you send out a mass email, what do you do?
ReplyDeleteI know Linsey. It's kind of crazy, but this was the first day this week that I've been home. Usually, I've sent out mass emails to folks, or put something on my blog, or something like that. I don't really have addresses for anyone, so this will be the main challenge this year.
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas cards as well. I love getting any mail, but holiday mail is even better. I think it's sad that so many people just send mass emails instead of Christmas cards. Nothing like getting a card in the mail. Get me your new address and I will put you on my lists.

I've always wanted to do a mad-lib Christmas letter, but never got around to it. Maybe this year.... I bet if I let my kids do it, it will get done! Email me your new addy and I'll send it to you!
